Class: Fire and Life Safety Educator II

This course is a continuation of Fire and Life Safety Educator II. The student will learn the principles of lesson plan development utilizing learning, performance, and behavioral objectives. The student will develop various evaluation strategies so that program outcomes are measured. Topics also include budget preparation and resource management. Prerequisite: Fire & Life Safety Educator I, FFP 1793.
NOTE: This course is part of the Fire & Life Safety Educator Certification.

Registration and Book Fee: Thanks to the Broward County Juvenile Firesetter Prevention and Intervention Program, and the support from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services, there is no cost to Fire Rescue Department Participants. You must bring your own book (IFSTA’s Fire and Life Safety Educator, 3rd Edition) from the FLSE I course.
Class size limited to 25 persons. *
** 1st Priority given to Fire Rescue Department personnel with primary responsibility for providing public fire safety education programs. 2nd Priority given to Fire Rescue Department personnel who may be interested in delivering public fire safety education programs.
