WHY RAPID ACCESS PROGRAMS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER IN CAMPUS SETTINGS 1HR - WEBINAR

(1 Contact Hour approved for Fire Code Administrator, Fire Safety Inspector and Instructor I, II, III)

When people think of rapid access products, they think of key safes. However rapid access products have evolved to include elevator boxes, power shut-off boxes, lock boxes for residential use, locking caps for FDC and standpipe connections and many more. Plus the traditional mechanical key now has competition with new electronic options that eliminate liability and traceability concerns. Now, with COVID-19 and a "new normal," there may be times when more buildings are susceptible to vandalism, and times when no one will be available to let first responders inside. These new issues have a put a new spotlight on rapid access programs at universities.
